Cross-Pollination: Sharing Art. Sharing Ideas.
In the summer of 2012, the Davis Art Center launched the inaugural year of its exciting new Discovery Art program with an exhibit called Cross-Pollination: Sharing Art. Sharing Ideas. The Art Center’s Tsao Gallery was transformed into an interactive Discovery Center where a collection of collaboratively generated artworks came to life with the support of the local community. The exhibit addressed our relationships with creativity and the natural environment. Over several months, community members were invited to join in a series of fun drop-in and take-home experiences at the Art Center and in locations throughout Davis. Two amazing large-scale artworks were created for this show.Learn more about the Discovery Art program.

Pocket Collections
